A brief personal timeline:
2002: Fills gel pen notebook with stories, poems, and songs instead of names of Backstreet Boys.
2010: Identifies as the weird kid who actually likes writing essays in school, even though everyone else hates it.
2014: Goes to university to study creative business and discovers people will pay you to write for them (if you’re good). Starts freelance copywriting by day, serving drinks by night.
2016-2019: Begins career in marketing for a record label and a food start-up. Finds out writing for artists and brands is a lot more fun than writing essays. Discerns kids in high school were on to something.
Today: Works full-time as a freelance copywriter. Is obsessed with helping brands tell their stories.
